Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and company policies.
• Record, apply, and reconcile customer payments in accounting systems, ensuring receipts are posted to the correct accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in coordination with the Operations, Sales, and Customer Experience teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records, ensuring data consistency and completeness.
• Coordinate with Treasury and Accounting teams to ensure accurate cash application and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and analyses to support financial close and management decision-making.
• Support the Finance Operations team in identifying potential credit risks and recommending mitigation actions.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing required documentation and reconciliations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency in billing, collections, and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification or hands-on experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting.
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or service-based industries is preferred.
